Mitzvah Outing on April 7

OtherB'Nai Mitzvah Cohort Mitzvah Outing Sunday, April 7, from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM You and your child are invited to our monthly Mitzvah Outing. The Mitzvah Outing is a fun way to help feed families in need, learn something about making a difference in the world, and get to know the other students who are becoming B'nai Mitzvah around the same time as you. This also fulfills the required Month 8 Activity in your child's B'nai Mitzvah binder. We have set up a group activity for you at AFAC, the Arlington Food Assistance Center. AFAC is a community-based non-profit that provides supplemental groceries to Arlington families in need. Our group will meet at Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) at 1:30 pm. AFAC recommends that volunteers wear closed-toe shoes and dress in layers. Parking information can be found here: https://www.afac.org/hours-directions/directions-by-car/ You must fill this form out and have your child bring it along: http://www.afac.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Hold-Harmless-for-website.pdf Please RSVP for each person who will be attending. We need one parent to accompany each student. For more information, please contact Julie Kaplan at JKaplan@templerodefshalom.org or call at 703.532.2217 x 313.
